CECAM Scientific council

Description

The Scientific Council determines the general policy and the major course of CECAM's management. The role of the Council, in the context of the association's aims is:

• to prepare the scientific program for the coming year;
• to monitor the development of expenditure respecting the limits of the association\'s annual grant, and to prepare a provisional budget for the coming year;
• to approve the annual statement of accounts for the previous year and the discharge of the Director in this respect;
• to approve an Annual Report on the scientific activities of the association;
• to discuss and decide on any other matter the Council deems necessary within the framework of CECAM's aims and activities, and particularly on the participation in European network projects, possibly as coordinators, and on the individual grant applications submitted by young researchers.
