Faculty Positions in Computational Mathematics at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne

The EPFL announces the creation of a new Mathematics Institute in Computational Science and Engineering (MATHICSE). In this framework EPFL is planning to make a number of appointments at the assistant, associate professor or full professor level.

Candidates for these new positions are expected to have an exceptional track record in research that conjugates mathematical and numerical techniques for the solution of complex problems in science and engineering.

Successful candidates will establish and lead vigorous independent research programs, interact with existing projects in the CSE area across the EPFL Campus, and be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Significant start-up resources and research infrastructure will be available.
