Obituary to Prof. Walter Temmerman

We are very sorry to have to bring you the sad news that Walter Temmerman died Saturday 10 May 2014. Walter was the key figure in the conception, foundation and success both of CCP9 in the UK and, with his wife Dzidka Szotek, of Psi-k in Europe. He represented STFC on the Council of CECAM for several years, and when the Hartree Node of CECAM was established Walter was its founding Director. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all his friends and colleagues at Daresbury and throughout the world.
