CECAM-IT-SIMUL Node (Co-operation in Simulation)

Since January 1st, 2017, the SIMUL node — represented at Council by the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) — is established by an agreement with a Consortium comprising four Italian Universities: Polytechnic University of Milan, Polytechnic University of Turin, University of Rome Tor Vergata, and University of L’Aquila. The Consortium strives to strengthen and extend its network, by incorporating other Italian institutions. As a first result of this policy, Sapienza — University of Rome joined the Consortium in February 2018. The SIMUL node takes as its mission to speak to and to speak for the many computational scientists active in the fields nurtured by CECAM, but scattered among too many separate organisations all over Italy.
