The position is foreseen to focus on different aspects and in collaboration with F. Paleari, D. Varsano and A. Ferretti in Modena:

(i) technical details of the implementations and porting of the code on GPUs,
(ii) finalizing the implementation of exciton-phonon coupling with applications on 2D materials, and
(iii) working on real time exciton-ion coupling.

Depending on the aptitudes and background of the candidate, the focus can be shifted among these three topics.

Details: The position is funded from the European MaX centre of excellence (https://www.max-centre.eu/), for a minimum of 1 year, renewable up to the end of the MaX project.
The net salary is about 2000 euro/month. A PhD and/or a post-doc in numerical simulations/code development are required.
