7th Workshop on Time-Dependent Density-Functional Theory: Prospects and Applications
CECAM-ES
Organisers
The Workshop will address, among others, the following questions:
o What are the necessary models to address spin dynamics in materials, and how do they work?
o Can TDDFT be employed to study the novel time-resolved ultrafast spectroscopies?
o How can improve our understanding of electron-ion coupling at a fundamental level, going beyond Born-Oppenheimer?
o What is the state-of-the-art of the current approximations to the exchange-and-correlation functionals, both for ground-state and excited-states problems?
o What are the current experimental advances that require ab-initio modeling?
o In the field of photo-voltaics, what is the current state-of-the-art from an industrial view-point? How can the theory help?
o How can TDDFT and a quantized description of the electromagnetic field be merged?
o What is the current relation of TDDFT with more advanced many-body schemes, such as Bethe-Salpeter?
