The meeting will be by invitation only. Key opinion formers will be invited to give short scene-setting presentations and the rest of the time will be devoted to discussion. The meeting will attempt to identify a dozen areas of new science where CECAM can add value. It will try to outline the infrastructure requirements for each area in terms of hardware, software, data storage, and training required to develop the area. It will make recommendations on possible funding sources. Finally it will identify industrial partners in Europe, who would be prepared to sponsor and support this work. At regular intervals throughout the three days we will will have leading edge scientific presentations to provide stimulus material.
