MDDB conference
Location: CECAM-HQ-EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland
Organisers
The Molecular Dynamics Data Bank (MDDB) Project conference marks the culmination of our groundbreaking work to establish Europe’s first unified repository for molecular dynamics (MD) data in computational biophysics and drug discovery. This event will showcase the project’s outcomes and present the future benefits of the MDDB platform to the global scientific community.
During the conference, MDDB scientists will present the architecture of the database to the community, demonstrating how this comprehensive solution will address decades-old challenges in MD data management through the implementation of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles, interoperable standards, and user-friendly interfaces. Outstanding speakers from biophysics, structural biology, drug discovery, and computational biology will present cutting-edge studies on MD simulations and how this research can benefit from a global and trusted repository in the field. Additionally, expert recommendations on how to combine MD data with artificial intelligence will reach practitioners across different research domains, including biophysics and precision medicine.
The conference welcomes researchers from academia and industry working in MD and related fields, offering opportunities for collaborative, data-driven discovery.
