The Nanoscale Simulators of Ireland meeting will start at 1 PM on Wednesday May 30, and close at 4 PM on Thursday May 31 at the Bernal Institute, University of Limerick. The meeting is supported in part by the European Union through  the E-CAM Centre of Excellence, and CECAM-IRL. There will be a registration charge of €25 per person to be paid by bank transfer to the University of Limerick. The registration payment details are at the end of this text.   

The programme will consist of

• short talks (15 minutes + 5 questions)
• long/invited talk (30 minutes + 10 questions)
• one or more round-table discussions

All abstracts for presentations should be uploaded at this  CECAM webpage for this meeting. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15 May 2018. If you have not registered before on the CECAM site, www.cecam.org, you will need to do so first.

The form of presentation (talk/poster) will be decided according to the quality of the abstract, and likely relevance to the audience - mostly simulators (in electronic structure and soft-matter/biophysics) and coders, but will include some experimental/industry researchers.

When preparing your presentation, if possible, please mention the role/ importance of either: (a)  HPC/massively parallel computing platforms in your simulations or (b) industry interactions or both (a,b).  These are themes relevant to the European Union and Enterprise Ireland. If neither (a) or (b) is relevant, your abstract will still be very welcome.

Accommodation

Castletroy Park hotel is across the road from the campus, and Kilmurry Lodge is a ten-minute walk. The city centre has a wide range of accommodation options and is a ten-minute taxi journey from the campus.
