Submit a CECAM flagship proposal

Call closes on 17 July 2026

Help us shape the 2027 - 2028 CECAM program by proposing exciting events in the broad area of computational science!

Tipical formats funded by CECAM are:

CECAM workshops conceived to discuss new ideas and applications in and around our core areas: simulation and modeling at the atomistic, molecular and meso scale, electronic structure calculations, quantum simulations, materials, life sciences, scientific machine learning etc. CECAM workshops usually last for 3 days and have between 20 and 35 participants.

CECAM advanced schools in which Master and PhD students, postdocs, and younger researchers can learn about simulation-driven approaches to science and get a first-class grounding in new methods from experts in the CECAM network. Schools usually last 5 days and have between 30 and 40 participants.

CECAM alternative formats we are always open to suggestions! If you would like to propose alternative formats (e.g., focused discussion meetings, longer workshops for deeper discussions, wider symposia, community software development meetings), please let us know. Alternative formats are always encouraged and carefully considered.

In-person events are strongly preferred. If your event can benefit from a different format, motivate your strategy in the proposal.

Please read carefully the additional material accessible via this webpage, as well as the text on the submission forms, following these guidelines and recommendations will maximize your chances of success.

Do not hesitate to contact us at helpdesk@cecam.org if you need clarifications or want to explore how an alternative format you might have in mind fits with our program.
