Submit a CECAM-Lorentz proposal
The CECAM-Lorentz workshops are prestigious workshops in the computational sciences. Computational approaches are almost inherently interdisciplinary in character, thus blending naturally in the Lorentz Center’s workshop program.
The CECAM-Lorentz workshops are part of our collaboration with the Lorentz Center in Leiden, aiming at daring initiatives in modeling and simulation at different scales. The workshops are held since 2014, alternately at Lorentz Center in Leiden and at CECAM in Lausanne. Previous events can be found here.
The CECAM-Lorentz program funds every year a leading-edge workshop in computational simulation and modeling and its applications. We seek an innovative scientific program that takes us beyond current boundaries in an open and interactive format with few lectures and ample time for discussion. All topics are welcome and we encourage interdisciplinary proposals fostering new synergies between different communities from the natural/exact sciences.
Diversity, both in gender and geographical provenance, of organisers and participants is equally encouraged and will be considered in the evaluation of the proposals.
Short-listed expressions of interest will be invited to present a full application by December 15, 2021. Results of the call will be communicated at the end of January 2022.
