Professor or Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence in Materials or Mechanical Engineering
This position is a 100% permanent position, and will be part of the Applied Materials research group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The Applied Materials research group is a multidisciplinary mixture of engineers, physicists, and chemists, working on a wide range of topics. Key areas are energy generation, transport and storage, tribology, light structures and shipping.

Congratulations to Luís Cruz, June Sallou, Maja Kirkeby, Silverio Martínez-Fernández, João Paulo Fernandes! Their proposed workshop on “Greening AI with Software Engineering” has been selected as the 2024-2025 CECAM-Lorentz workshop via a competitive peer-reviewed selection.
The workshop will take place in CECAM-HQ, EPF-Lausanne, Switzerland, February 3-7, 2025. Applications are now open!
ASESMANET: Africa-Europe Research Visits 2024
ASESMANET is pleased to announce an open call for scientists based in Africa who are actively involved in electronic structure calculations and seeking funding to visit and conduct research in Europe-based research groups.
